Saks OFF 5TH Hiring for Manager, Investigations at New York, New York Full Time

What This Position Is All About:

The Manager of Investigations will be responsible for conducting complex investigations into both internal and external theft and fraud affecting the Saks OFF 5 TH e-commerce business. This individual must be able to initiate their own investigations using Exception Based Reporting and other company systems. The Manager of Investigations will work with both internal partners and external law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate all cases, conduct interviews, and prepare investigative reports that can be used for prosecution.

This individual will be responsible for communicating all pending and completed investigations in a timely fashion and must be available on nights and weekends to respond to investigatory needs. The Manager of Investigations must also be able to travel, when needed, to conduct audits, security assessments, or training.

This individual will assist with inventory control and shortage reduction programs.
 

Who Are You:

• Must be able to work as part of a team and collaborate on complex investigations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

You Also Have:

• Bachelor’s degree, investigative certifications preferred but not required. 
• Ability to work with and interpret exception-based reports and other analytical programs
• Ability to understand complex fraud schemes and assimilate information quickly
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in investigating fraud and theft.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, retail or banking investigations preferred.

As The Manager, Investigations, you will:

• Initiate investigations into external and internal theft and fraud through use of exception-based reporting, remote CCTV, and other company systems
• Conduct full investigations through to their conclusion including conducting interviews and partnering with law enforcement agencies on prosecution
• Identify exposures to loss and provide recommendations to the organization on how they can be mitigated.
• Provide support and training on inventory control and shortage reductions programs.
