Saks OFF 5TH Hiring for Analyst, Leave Management at New York, New York Full Time

What This Position Is All About:

Under the direction of the Benefits Manager, the Analyst is responsible for supporting the Benefits & Wellness team with the day-to-day disability and leave administration processes, including Short- and Long-Term Disability, FMLA, and company-sponsored leave programs for Saks Off 5th store and corporate employees. You’ll ensure outsourced services are provided in accordance with Plan requirements, contract terms and compliant with state and local leave policies. You will leverage your interpersonal skills to build strong relationships internally and externally, collaborating with HRBPs and cross-functional teams as an expert on various leave related processes, as well as research any potential service delivery issues and ensure timely resolution of participant escalations. Analyst will oversee vendor expense and invoice management, and participate in benefits and wellness project as necessary.

As Analyst – Leave Management Administration, you will:

• Be the point of contact in the daily operations and interactions with the Leave Management Third Party Administrator (TPA)

• Review and research all leave related escalations from managers and HR partners and coordinate resolution efforts with Leave TPA
• Provide subject matter expertise and education to employees and management
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to achieve
• Review disability pay calculations and collaborate with payroll department to ensure accuracy of pay; develop and implement new payroll processes and procedures as needed
• Analyze Leave TPA performance levels, and recommend enhancements to policies
• Produce and manage reporting metrics and analytics for all leave cases
• Assist in the design and implementation of new LOA policies and programs
• Monitor and manage case resolution within performance standards
• Ensure all leave processes are documented and adhere to policy and compliance standards
• Deliver exceptional customer experience, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
• Perform administrative tasks, including processing check requests, bills and invoices.
• Assist in reconciliation of benefit related bills.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of all pertinent federal and state laws.
• Assist with other team projects and functions, as necessary.

Experience you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or combination of CEBS, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP Certification
• 3-5 years’ experience in disability leave management, benefits and wellness administration, with a strong emphasis on vendor relationship interaction, customer service, continuous improvement and compliance monitoring
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, such as Workday or similar
• Working knowledge of Federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits and leaves eligibility, including Section 125 regulations, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, ADA and relevant Workers` Compensation statutes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
