Position Description:
Production Operators are responsible for working safely while following SOPs, quality standards, and follows PPE requirements to produce parts to customer specifications. They will safely operate finishing (assembly & packaging) equipment & tools, follow pertinent SOP and MOP guidelines, inspect product, and complete paperwork, and support site goals and initiatives.

On the job training & rotational development within the key functions of Assembly, Injection Molding & Extrusion.

Assembly: producing quality products to specifications of customers as defined on the product prints and routers. Full participation in activities in the clean room (assembly, heat sealing, cleaning, packing, etc.) to achieve on-time shipment goals and efficiency targets. Tasks include Filling out all paperwork documenting steps performed, quantities, and quality checks performed, collect components for assembly ensuring lot number traceability, and package assemblies in plastic bags and heat seal.

Injection Molding: Set up molds and machines. Operate injection molding machines to produce specified product to quality and relieve other operators as required. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is molded in accordance with the provided detailed drawings, using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and other measuring tools.

Extrusion Operations: Safely operate extrusion machines, feeding raw material into machine to create medical-grade tubing and profiles, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is extruded in accordance with the provided specifications, using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, pi tape, optical comparator, and other measuring tools.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); Required.

At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment; Preferred.

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm; Monday – Friday

Pay: $18.00/hr (plus $0.75/hr Shift Differential)

Plus, OT Eligible: Average upwards of 16/hrs of Overtime per Month.

3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; Sunday Night to Friday Morning.

Pay: $18.00/hr (plus $1.50/hr Shift Differential)

Plus, OT Eligible: Average upwards of 16/hrs of Overtime per Month.
