We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed individual who will be able to manage our admissions process.

The successful candidate should be proactive, passionate and able to work well in a team. Reporting to Director of Admissions and Marketing as well as key stakeholders this is a crucial role in the development of Saint Felix.

Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged from 2 – 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

This newly created role will involve taking ownership of and ensuring the swift handling of admissions-related enquiries to Saint Felix. You will work closely with and influence the Head Teacher to drive positive change and action in order to improve the prospective parent journey from enquiry to place acceptance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage, track and implement the admissions process for Saint Felix School from enquiry to place acceptance
• Quickly grasp each enquirer’s needs and effectively selling the benefits of the relevant school or nursery to meet their needs
• Ensure timely and effective handling of enquiries and accurate recording of data in a central CRM system
• Take responsibility for the overall management and development of the schools CRM system
• Build effective relationships and processes with the relevant school and nursery staff to enable swift bookings of visits/tours
• Manage the admissions policies and procedures to ensure that they are efficient and compliant
• Work alongside the Marketing Team to create email templates and implement innovative communications initiatives to drive admissions conversion
• In conjunction with the Marketing Team, take a proactive approach to encourage prospective parents along the admissions process and gain valuable insight from any families that withdraw
• Establish and implement KPI reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to review performance and adjust activities where necessary
• Influence and train others to improve admissions conversion

• to ensure the arrangements for testing, interviewing of, and feedback of prospective pupils, including entrance assessment days, scholarships, and other award interviews are undertaken
• to ensure compliance, where applicable, to the UKVI Sponsor duties including maintenance of logs and keeping up-to-date with the new regulations.

Required experience:

• Previous experience of managing a busy admissions department within the education sector (essential)
• Experience of achieving targets (essential)
• Previous experience of working closely with marketing teams (essential)
• Effective stakeholder management with the ability to influence (essential)
• Experience of inputting into KPI reporting (essential)
