SAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst to provide day-to-day, onsite operational logistics maintenance and support for the US Navy’s Computer Network Defense team in No. Charleston, SC. SAIC is looking for a motivated, adaptable individual with a background in DoD Logistics, willing and able to assist with mission critical operations in support of NIWC LANT and NIWC PAC.

Job Description:

• This position will be responsible for maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track inventory across multiple builds and variants, organize hardware parts and integral build components, and account for inbound/outbound equipment and material.
• Prepare Navy documentation to include TMRs/ MRFs/DD1149’s for processing, shipping and receiving of equipment.
• Perform ILS planning in support of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Field Change s (FCRs).
• Tracking and analysis of End of Life (EOL)/End of Support (EOS) and DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) for project assets to include hardware and software (version numbers included).
• Perform Inventory control and maintain project assets (GFE/GFM) in CMPRO and Navy ERP in accordance to Command FIAR compliance.
• Create automated actions that alert appropriate parties to changes in data, timelines, or any other matrix pertaining to the program involved.
• Track Hardware/Software baseline for project, as well as SW licensing and renewal tracking.

Travel: Anticipated travel is up to 10%, both CONUS and OCONUS. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelors and three (3) years or more logistics experience; or seven (7) years of related ILS experience with a GED/HS diploma.

Required skills:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
• Proficiency with CMPRO or DoD inventory / logistics management tools.
• Experience with researching equipment and software for quotes for building and maintaining a Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft 365 to include, but not limited to: Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Power Automate, OneNote, and OneDrive.
• An ability to present data on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Proficiency of prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to work with differing time-zones and adapt with rapidly evolving schedules.
• Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks.
• Must be able to plan, form, maintain, and present large amounts of data to appropriate parties in required timeframes.

Required clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance and have eligibility for Top Secret.
