Job Title: Systems Analyst – Senior
Location: Remote (Post Covid Onsite at Toronto ON)

Job Description

· Capture business requirements, assess technical features and capabilities to create and update business rules based on the requirements

· Provide Data Science services including Data Cleansing and Data Analytics

· Create custom reports and Data Visualization as required, applying Microsoft Technologies, including Power BI

· Create data sources using SharePoint Lists and NoSQL databases.

· Conduct testing, integration and deployment of each developed solution

· Document application changes & enhancements to existing features and new features as per approved requirements and design direction

· Review and understand application changes and patches and system architecture of the EHS systems, and deploy updates as required and can support scalability requirements

· Provide realistic work estimates to support project planning

· Use structured methodologies, design best practices, and implement changes that is of quality, and clearly documented. Assure the proposed application(s) should function as required, without any defects and assure the application operates with the appropriate systems and other peripherals as identified

· Create Documentation for the purpose of training other technical IT Staff to support the deployment.

· Work with Microsoft Windows, Desktop and Laptop workstation support, Citrix Client, General Server Environment

· Use enterprise Service Management Toolsets e.g. Remedy in order to manage encryption related tickets

· Respond to and co-ordinate encryption activities, between clients & vendor appointments based on approved and scheduled Incident, Task and Work Order Records.

· Update tickets and the CMDB to document the activities (e.g. Key management, removals, etc.).

· Perform Audit activities as defined by the Radio Operations Manager.

· All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.

· Security Clearance process, levels, roles etc. are subject to change without prior notice. Candidates may be required to undergo revised/new process (or levels) any time prior or during the term of the contract.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS SET REQUIREMENTS

Technology and Analysis. 35%

· Knowledge of systems analysis and design methods and techniques to develop system solutions and to manage servers and applications

· Demonstrated knowledge of testing and implementation methods and practices for testing and acceptance

· Experience in the application of theories, principles and practices of voice, data, radio, information technology and satellite telecommunications engineering.

· Experience with systems and business operational disciplines and processes; skills in negotiation, conflict and problem resolution, change management and project coordination; current knowledge in new technologies and trends that may benefit emergency health services.

· Knowledge of server and network technologies, hardware and facilities requirements (data centres) along with IT security policies to identify and evaluate IT options for clients and to design, develop and implement technology solutions

· Experience with integrated voice and data switching systems, computer data communications architecture, radio-trunking systems design and P25 standards

· Experience with VHF and UHF radio technologies

· Experience with public safety dispatch systems integration and interface requirements to support continued interoperability of all systems and services

· Experience with creating and managing data sources (SharePoint Lists, NoSQL database, etc.).

· Experience creating custom reports, implementing change management and auditing data.

· Experience with database integration

Analytical and Communication. 35%

· Understanding of emergency health services in Ontario including ambulance communications, operations and practices, associated standards, policies, and guidelines as well as interface with/delivery of other emergency communications services (e.g. police, fire) in order to support communications and interface requirements within the context of the emergency services framework.

· Knowledge of current and emerging radio systems technologies including voice, data, satellite, information technology and radio telecommunication systems used in the public safety communications centre environment in order to provide technical expertise, advice and troubleshooting support for communications systems within the assigned public safety communications centre

Project Management and Coordination Skills. 15%

· Knowledge of project management methodology, analytical tools and processes, and tendering process to support projects and development of project plans.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business and technology requirements, evaluate the functionality of new software and hardware

· Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time

· Experience in working on multi-year projects

Industry Experience. 15%

· Experience with the Public Safety agencies and its stakeholder would be an asset

· Experience with the projects related to 24×7 critical environments and operations
