Job Description

Sage is looking for a highly motivated technology expert to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will work on many projects with varying responsibilities. We need experienced engineers with strong technical knowledge, good problem solving skills, and a passion for software development and engineering best practices. We are seeking strong team players who thrive on innovation and continuous improvement.
This role is part of the development team, building, enhancing and maintaining web UI to enable Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture.
The Software Engineer will contribute extensively to the technical analysis, design and build of solutions required.
The successful candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplined team co-located in Atlanta but working globally with colleagues across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibilities
Developing, delivering, maintaining, and implementing high quality technical solutions
Taking technical ownership of functions/features or services as defined by the development team, participating in all phases of the project lifecycle.
Maintaining relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.
Continuously striving to make improvements to the existing products and/or systems and services.
Ensuring all tasks are completed to the required quality standards.
Keeping up to date with relevant technology areas.
3+ years’ experience in Software Engineering
Experience with JavaScript and building Web UI’s using standard frameworks, including React, Ionic, and/or Angular
Ability to interpret and/or gather user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code
Good numerical reasoning and logic ability with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Innovative and creative thinking, with the ability to adapt to changes with technology advancements
Experience of deploying solutions in Amazon AWS using Lambda, EC2
Experience building APIs using Java, and/or NodeJS
