The Director, Talent Acquisition – Flex Team is accountable for supporting overflow of high priority vacancies to support corporate, GEO and Segments. Including the execution of the Sage talent acquisition operational delivery model and processes. This role is accountable for leading and coaching, a high-performance Talent Acquisition Flex team, to deliver the right talent for the right role, providing exceptional candidates experience to all active, passive or potential talent for Sage across all talent segments. Will partner with TA Leaders to determine resource allocation and provide timelines of shared resource. Will analyse prioritization criteria for Talent Needs, review the strategic importance to the overall organization, analyse the impact of vacancy on the organization’s bottom line and inform the level of recruiter process customization needed. Will act as an extension of the TA team and consultant to business leaders and people colleagues, on hiring activities, resource availability and management and allocation of TA resources to ensure optimal productivity levels are achieved. The TAM Flex Team will have global responsibility and will manage the delivery of the Talent Acquisition strategy and initiatives for talent hiring. Build strong relationships and partnerships across the business, being regarded as the expert in talent acquisition, both internally and externally.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Design, implement, execute and measure an effective talent acquisition strategy and model for the Flex Team, hat is aligned with Sage business strategy, culture and talent needs

Lead the TA global Flex Team; set direction; provide regular feedback on performance and results. Ensure recruiting capability is of the highest quality, digitally savvy, motivated with clear goals.

Contract with People Business Partners and Senior Leaders to develop and deliver talent pipelines to fill volume, executive and specialist roles; improving time to hire and cost per hire. Personal ownership and involvement in key leader hires in partnership with Executive Recruitment in TA Corporate Center.

Drive DEI recruitment strategy for Flex team recruitment in partnership with Sage Belong; build and manage DEI partnerships in Sage communities.

Ensure diverse hiring practices are embraced consistent with best practice and Sage policy.

Develop and implement strategies (including outsourcing as appropriate) to ensure the right pipeline of volume hires sales and service – quota and non-quota bearing – consistent with market capacity plans; improving time to hire and cost per hire. Effectively manage third party relationships to ensure service quality and ROI.

Participate on Global TA Leadership team to drive alignment between Geo/Segments and Corporate Center strategy.

Ensure compelling talent attraction and selection methods leverage Sage brand positively through all resourcing activity and channels (including platforms like Glassdoor and Comparably) improving candidate awareness

May be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting, proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, assessment of candidate suitability and fit, managing the interviewing process, and Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Business Leaders, TA Leaders and People Business Partners, and third party partnerships.

Lead and project manage recruiting initiatives that have a high impact on business growth.

Define personal brand, through candidate / hiring manager experiences and online presence, being a Brand Ambassador at all times to strengthen the employer brand at every opportunity

Be an advocate of good Social Media practices in the team and embed it in the wider business through example

Management of team’s accurate data records within the Sage ATS system

Present weekly, monthly and quarter reports to stakeholders on activity

Expected to Travel as needed

Highly experienced talent acquisition professional with an exceptional reputation for commercial acumen, delivery, budgeting, operational leadership and sophisticated approach to talent acquisition

Successful experience in a technology led organisation (ideally software); multinational, matrixed environment

Proficiency in English language, verbal and written

Digitally savvy, understands the technology landscape, able to devise complex and multi-dimensional talent acquisition strategies in a competitive market

Demonstrable ability to measure and report recruitment metrics e.g. time to hire, cost per hire, quality of hire

Resilient, numerate, analytical, influencer and collaborative relationship builder

Proven experience in a high performing team of recruitment professionals to deliver experience focused solutions

Operationally savvy and previous experience managing metrics and supporting global recruitment

Outstanding planning and organisation skills

Exceptional relationship management skills and capability to build

Strong performance management skills, through coaching mind-set

Demonstrate delivery and execution with pace and high quality outputs

Demonstrated expertise and understanding of all sourcing channels, on/off-line

Senior level recruitment experience leading a team

Ability to add value through vendor management partnerships

Must be willing to travel globally few times a year

Prefer bilingual speaking and written skills
