Regional Construction Management firm is seeking qualified Senior Project Engineer with Educational Facility experience.

Job Description:

The Senior Project Engineer provides support and assistance to other team members in the performance of their respective responsibilities. The Senior Project Engineer is expected at times to step into the roles of more senior team members, including running design or construction meetings, conducting field checks, preparing written and photographic materials including correspondence, s, procedures, guidelines, meeting minutes, and proposed board action requests to the Client. The Senior Project Engineer coordinates with the design team for conformance review and timely and accurate responses to requests for information, submittals, construction change documents, etc. The Senior Project Engineer is the person primarily responsible to maintain project files in both electronic and paper format.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction management of commercial and/or public or educational facility construction projects.
• BS/BA degree from an accredited university
• Vertical construction experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• A desire to achieve excellence and to grow within a dynamic organization.
• Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, cooperative team environment, with significant client interface.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on educational programs/projects.
• Experience on Division of State Architect (DSA) projects.
• Current California Professional Engineer license
