Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Safety Supervisor with 3 to 5 years of experience to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in our office in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a relevant field and a passion for promoting workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
– **Safety Audits:** Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
– **Training Programs:** Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring that all staff are aware of proper safety practices.
– **Incident Management:** Investigate accidents and near misses, documenting findings and recommending preventative measures to avoid future incidents.
– **Safety Policies:** Create and maintain safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are updated and communicated effectively to all employees.
– **Reporting:** Prepare and present safety reports to management, highlighting areas of concern and improvement, along with progress on safety initiatives.
Required Skills and Expectations:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workplace safety and a diploma related to safety management. Excellent communication skills are essential for conducting training sessions and preparing reports. The ability to identify risks and implement solutions is crucial. The candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Additionally, male candidates are preferred for this role.
