Safety & Compliance Coordinator Full Time

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety & Compliance Administrator to join our team at our Caledon, Ontario office.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional with transportation industry experience who is committed to maintaining regulatory compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize all tractor and trailer files
• Manage the driver hiring process, including onboarding documentation
• Conduct new employee orientations with safety training, including:
• Monitor, process, and audit driver logs; follow up on discrepancies
• Conduct collision and incident investigations
• Maintain and audit Driver Qualification (DQ) files to ensure compliance
• Ensure accurate completion of accident/incident reports
• Schedule and coordinate safety meetings and training sessions
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal health & safety regulations
• Process and manage IFTA and IRP licensing and renewals
• Maintain CTPAT compliance and U.S. DOT regulatory requirements

🔹 Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety and compliance within the transportation industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and senior management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
