Safari Kid – Irvington is now hiring after school teacher for Kindergarten

Safari Kid offers a Well Balanced and enriching curriculum that promotes the overall growth and development of children. The position is for After- School teacher to work with children in Kindergarten

Teacher responsibilities include:

• Supervise and assist children in completing their school homework and checking it for accuracy
• Implement assigned enrichment and extra- curricular activities.
• Work cooperatively with other staff in providing nurturing, caring, safe, fun, interesting and enriching programs for participating children.
• Keep track of student progress
• Effectively communicate student progress with parents
• Be sensitive to children’s needs.
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Chinese or others)
• Be available for work Mon – Fri 11:45am – 5:45 pm

Qualifications:

College students can apply

Bachelors or higher degree

Must be proficient in Math and English.

Prior experience working with children preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
