We are looking for a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic Software Tester who is passionate about technology and is committed to delivering high quality software to customers.
As a Software Tester, you will be involved in test planning, preparation, execution, defect management and reporting across all phases of the software development life cycle. This role is ideal for someone who is determined to explore the testing spectrum and move further in their testing career.

Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership for system test activities in an agile environment in all phases in the SDLC.
- Analysis and creation of test deliverables including test plans, test cases/scripts, test execution reports and defect reporting.
- Creation of an issues log and the maintenance of all issues related to the log from initiation to resolution per project.
- Defect management and reporting using JIRA – reporting on the types of defects both internally and
- Externally where necessary, clearly communicating the cause and the severity of the defect, whilst understanding and documenting the root cause analysis.
- Detailed automated and manual test scripting for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution.
- Create test reports to project stakeholders both internal and external to the company.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong interpersonal skills in supporting clients through their own testing processes, both remotely and on-site where necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and proactively with self-drive.
- Requires a varied array of testing experience within the following types of environment; Webservices/Process Flows, Web/Mobile/Standalone Applications, Technical application of QA using Business Processes, Web Applications, Thick Client Applications, SQL Server Management Studio
- Strong analytical and business mind, with the ability to understand the quality assurance proces from both a business and technical perspective
- Agile & Scrum experience
- SEB/ISTQB System Testing Foundation Certification at minimum
- Experience with any of the following would be beneficial: Genesys, Nectar CX Assurance, TestComplete
- Excellent communicator – will always be working in a team environment with developers, consultants, project managers etc.
- Be able to liaise and communicate with customers.
- Be able to handle working in a pressured environment with tight deadlines.
- Proactive – Ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes.
- Adaptability as we are looking for someone that can shift between projects and workload and be productive quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- We need a Tester that can see the project from the client’s perspective, so they can stimulate discussion on project development both internally with directly with client project teams.
