An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) as a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist.
NALHN provides care to more than 400,000 people living in the northern metropolitan area of Adelaide as well as providing a number of state-wide services, and services to those in regional areas. NALHN offers a range of primary health care services across the northern metropolitan area of Adelaide, with a focus on providing preventive and health promoting programs in the community, and transition and hospital substitution and avoidance programs targeted at chronic disease and frail aged.
The Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist (TARS) is accountable to the Executive Director People and Culture for identifying, designing and delivering NALHN’s strategic recruitment initiatives and programs, including but not limited to large scale strategic recruitment campaigns and processes.
This role is responsible for understanding workforce acquisition and retention challenges and for developing and delivering talent acquisition solutions across a range of professions across in complex organisation.
This role will lead the design and delivery of a contemporary approach to delivering a great ‘candidate experience’ throughout the recruitment process and for identifying opportunities for enhanced engagement and retention across the employee lifecycle.
This role will be required to provide continuous business improvement through the ongoing reform and identification of enhanced recruitment practices to meet NALHN’s current and future workforce needs. The roll will be responsible for driving various strategic initiatives regarding the recruitment of roles consistent with best HR Practice.
The incumbent will be responsible for driving various people related initiatives, and for investigating and researching current and leading edge recruitment approaches to deliver high quality outcomes for NALHN.
