• Total Indicative Remuneration – $128,915 – $134,679 p.a Pro Rata – RN/M3 – Short Term Contract (Up to 11 months) – Part Time 11.4 hours per week

The Simulation Educator, Midwifery will oversee the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of inter professional SLE education programmes across the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, with a particular focus in the Women’s and Babies Division.

This involves the creation, facilitation, and evaluation of scenarios with other educators and clinical staff across the network, as well as assist with developing curricula that utilises simulation across the breadth of inter-professional courses provided by the Centre for Education.

Additionally this role has a heavy emphasis on needs analysis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of educational experiences for simulation utilising an interdisciplinary approach. The Simulation Educator, Midwifery will act as a role model and be recognised for clinical expertise across the WCHN, through collaboration with nursing, midwifery, medical and allied health care staff, and other relevant personnel.

The Simulation Educator, Midwifery- will also be responsible for developing, facilitating, and evaluating a framework of education to support the provision of education across the continuum from basic to advanced life support, as well as the deteriorating patient for neonates, babies, and obstetrics.
