Job Description
Financial Analyst
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer, while working closely with Business Unit Director
Location: Midland, TX
General Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
· Highly organized, detailed, and accurate
· Proficient in Excel – creating spreadsheets reports, manipulating data, updating and maintaining existing spreadsheets, and formula writing, as well as creation and maintenance of financial models
· Capability to manage multiple tasks while being highly responsive to BUD, upper management, field employees, and customers
· Ability to become proficient in ERP software (Viewpoint) and user database (HTS)
· Excellent written communication skills
· Ability to manage personnel as needed
· Analytical skills
· Experience compiling, creating, and analyzing financial statements
General Job Duties:
· Support the Business Unit Director to meet or exceed financial goals of the region, while assuring that senior management is notified of significant financial implications in a timely manner
· Update and publish weekly and monthly Profit and Loss statements
· Create monthly budget/targets with input from BUD and field supervisors
· Review and approve weekly check/EFT payments, and monthly rent payments
· Reconciliations as needed
· Create and update “Crew Builder” employee models
· Monthly Cash Flow statements
· Update and publish semi-monthly Safety Scorecard report
· Daily checklist and ticket/GPS audits
· Administrate monthly Business Review meetings with upper management and regional team through Zoom and in-person conferences
· Identify, investigate, and communicate trends in financial performance
· Model customer rates for new or existing customers
· Search for cost savings and efficiency gains
· Assist Corporate Finance with audits as needed
· Assist in customer rate negotiations
· Review, research, and report on Equipment Utilization
· Assist in reconciliation of A/R disputes as needed
· Deep research into issues that arise, and follow-through to resolve
· Any other reporting needs that arise
