S & C Electric Company Hiring for Packer (Day Shift) at Toronto, ON Full Time

S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a talented Packer who have a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As a Packer, you will

Use hand and power tools to cut wood, drill and build crates for our switches and finished products

Use manual pump trucks, cranes (over head / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s)

Ensure that crates are built, and products are packaged in accordance with quality standards, and to ensure that our product will not be damaged during transport

Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices

Who are we looking for? Someone who has

High school diploma

Experience working with hand and power tools, including nail and staple guns

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (considered an asset)

Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with minimal supervision

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to climb ladders and work on platforms, as required while ensuring that all health and safety practices and policies are adhered to

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
