S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a knowledgeable summer student to join our team as an Assembler. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to gain valuable work experience.
As an Assembler, you will
Use hand and power tools to assist the team with assembling our Switches and Omni-Rupter products
Move material using pump trucks and other devices
Responsible for material handling and ensuring that we have the necessary parts and materials according to our work orders
Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices
Other duties as assigned
Who are we looking for? Someone who
Is currently enrolled in a post secondary institution (diploma or degree program)
Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required
Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
