We are now looking to recruit a Java Developer on a remote or hybrid basis (your choice).

You will find yourself working on their main platform which is built using Java and Springboot Microservices and hosted on AWS.

Your day-to-day duties will include working across the full software development life-cycle. You will be working closely with your colleagues and will be involved in code reviews as well as identifying any room for improvement in their software, processes etc. You will find yourself working in an Agile environment and will be producing technical designs.

Tech used in the company include: Java, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, RabbitMQ, Guava, SQL, PostgreSQL, HBase, Agile, NoSQL, Puppet and Ansible.

It will be a 7.5 hours a day and 37.5 hours week working schedule.

Skills required for this position:

Excellent Java coding ability
Spring/Springboot Microservices
Strong SQL/NoSQL Database usage

Desirables:

AWS
Docker/Kubernetes
High-throughput / Low Latency
RabbitMQ / Kafka
The salary on offer for this position is up to £33,000

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
