We are looking for a veteran Product Development Engineer who can play a major role in the next generation of products that we create.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the design and creation of new products.
• Participate and sometimes lead the phases of product development from research and design to validation and launch.
• Spearhead efforts to improve existing products.
• Identify design problems and work on fixing them.
• Lead efforts for product physical, functional, and performance testing.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to transfer knowledge regarding product process, procedures, and specifications.
• Act as the product subject matter expert within cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus but not required for this role.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar role working with thermoplastics.
• Must have experience designing using a CAD program. You won’t be doing a ton of design work, but you must be familiar with it.
• Must have strong communication skills with the ability to talk to non-engineers about technical subjects.
• Train and mentor junior-level staff and help them develop in their career.
