This is a part time role with flexibility to structure your work hours across the work week and around your personal commitments

Functional area: Administration

Position Statement

To provide admistrative support to the Site Manager/Supervisor and their team, to ensure the smooth running of the business and its Site assets.

Principal Accountabilities

The principal accountabilities and duties of the role of an Administration Assistant include but are not limited to;

  • Data entry
  • Manage business computer systems
  • Interaction with 3rd party contractors and engagement processes
  • Manage works scheduling systems
  • Conduct stock takes and re-orders as required
  • Assist Implementation RWE safety and applicable policies
  • Perform Quality and Safety Inspections/Audits
  • Assist Site staff with labour assistance when necessary
  • Documenting all work and generating s as required
  • Perform data collection and prepare s in order to meet ing requirements
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all buildings and amenities
  • Provide administrative support to O&M Manager and other HQ staff when requested

Communication Skills

Communicate effectively with Site Supervisor, O&M Managers and Main contractors.

Ability to Operate Effectively within a Team Environment

A team-based approach to achieving objectives is needed to reflect and enhance the emerging culture and climate of RWE Renewables. Occupational Health Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

  • Ensure that you understand and carry out activities in accordance with RWE Renewables Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures;
  • Operate in accordance with RWE Renewables approved policy and procedural requirements;
  • Conduct risk assessments in area of responsibility with assistance from RWE Renewables HSE subject matter expert (SME);
  • Generate, implement and audit against Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) in consultation with team close out;
  • Promote a healthy work environment for all employees.

Skills/ Qualifications Required

  • High School Certificate (Preferrable)
  • Certificate III in business administration or above (Preferrable)
  • Ability to understand / operate technical and business computer software packages, including Microsoft office
  • HSE: Constant awareness, risks and hazards → attend meetings; raise Non-Conformance s (NCRs)
  • Previous experience in utility solar construction
  • Demonstrated productive performance in a team environment
  • Medical / Fit for duty assessment required
  • Current Driver’s License
