Russell Taylor Hiring for Software Engineer Job at Dunfermline, Scotland Full Time

Russell Taylor Group are working with one of Scotland’s leading companies in the home security sector to recruit a software engineer.

Main Duties:

You will implement new features and also gather data, investigate and fix problems, and deploy updates.

Helping to migrate existing in house software to the cloud.

Streamlining app functionality and usability to deliver the best experience for customers.

Desirable:

• Fluency in common programming languages including C++, Java and Python.
• Technical understanding of front-end web technologies, operating systems and platforms
• Problem-solving ability for improving programs and resolving bugs.
• A willingness to learn and enhance your knowledge as our product range develops.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and hands-on experience of migrating workloads to Amazon cloud services

This role will initially be based in the office but hybrid and home working options are available.

Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply as the client will provide further training for the right candidate.

Must have right to work in the UK

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
