Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of:

• The principles, methods, and practices of elementary and secondary education.
• The theories and principles of child growth and development.
• Current educational techniques and strategies to increase student achievement.
• Curriculum; Specifically Fundations, Reading Wonders, Eureka Math, Science, Fusion, Intro to Social Studies, and, Strategies for Writers
• Coaching and supporting teachers to lead to student instructional gains
• EL Education
• How to include staff, families, students, and the community in decision making.
• Special education law
• Systems and strategies to increase student culture and buy in.

• Ability to:

• utilize computer-based communications and record-keeping systems.
• Organize and coordinate the work of professional and paraprofessional personnel.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Create student and staff schedules
• Manage time appropriately

Minimum Requirements

• Minimal: Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Master’s Degree- Preferred

Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Principal K-12 Certification preferred.

This is a 12 month position beginning on July 1st, 2022.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
