Administrative Assistant (AA)
Job Description and Profile
The Administrative Assistant (AA) will support Rural Nevada Counseling (RNC); the Agency by providing exemplary customer service skills, telephone etiquette, administrative and clerical support to the Agency’s staff, site office managers, and the Agency’s patients. The AA is highly organized and is responsible for scheduling patients for services to be performed by the Agency’s staff either on a one-to-one appointment, group sessions or transports as required. The AA is responsible for collecting payments for all Self-Pay client’s when applicable. The AA is a qualified individual who possess the skills and abilities to work collaboratively with and under the Clinical Supervisor and Site Office Manager. The AA greets visitors, answers the telephones and triage calls as appropriate, and/or takes messages. The AA performs clerical duties to include receiving incoming mail, submissions, faxes, and correspondence and distributing to appropriate individuals, order and maintain sufficient office and lab supplies, maintain the offices in clean, orderly manner, and perform data entry. The AA will develop s in Electronic Health Record (EHR) as requested, create, and maintain general office files, photocopies, and files documents either electronically or in printed format, provides general administrative and clerical support to all office staff and management, makes travel arrangements for management and staff as requested, takes and transcribes meeting notes as requested. Attends trainings, continuing education and meetings as required.
