Ruppert Landscape Hiring for Director of Talent Acquisition, Maintenance Division Full Time

Ruppert Landscape’s Maintenance Division is seeking a proven Talent Acquisition leader for a new position to strengthen divison-wide systems and processes. This leadership role will develop the strategy for sourcing candidates, overall branch recruiting and develop career paths, all with the goal of creating a line out the door for all open positions. The Director of Talent Acquisition will help drive the hiring strategy, execute talent acquisition programs, ensure the talent pipeline is developed and leveraged throughout a dozen major markets. These goals will be reached through marketing and development of strategy, plans and programs over time.

Responsibilities:

• Provide vision, strategy, and leadership for re-engineering the talent acquisition process.
• Build strong relationships with corporate and branch leaders to stimulate confidence in talent acquisition approaches.
• Develop career paths to motivate and further enhance internal promotion success.
• Ensure talent acquisition operations reflect best practices and innovation to achieve and maintain position as a magnet for top talent in this industry.
• Provide thought leadership on talent pipeline and acquisition strategies.
• Use metrics to create s and identify areas of improvement.
• Work with leadership to identify internal talent solutions, and help close any training gaps.
• Organize and/or attend career fairs and other recruiting events.
• Build the company’s professional network through relationships with colleges and other partners.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and high level of comfort with applicant tracking and recruitment systems, models, and methodologies.
• Strong professional recruitment network and knowledge of external recruitment practices and trends.
• Technically proficient with a proven track record in all aspects of internet recruiting and on-boarding.
• Strong communication skills – written, oral and presentation skills. Ability to negotiate and influence others.
• Impeccable judgment and professionalism in handling and communicating confidential and sensitive employee or prospective employee data.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff, and to cultivate strong relationships across organizational boundaries. Proven track record in building a strong workforce and in developing future leaders.
• Significant achievements in talent acquisition strategies and practices.
• Experience utilizing results from workforce analytics in the design, implementation, and assessment of recruiting approaches.

Education and Experience:

• BS degree (Masters preferred) in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business or a related discipline or equivalent years of work experience as a talent acquisition leader required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a talent acquisition function, preferably working in a service organization with similar workforce characteristics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
