Ruby Group Hiring for Systems Accountant at Hounslow Full Time

Ruby Group are looking for a Systems Accountant to join a global business that employs over 10000 people. This is newly created job supporting the Financial Controller and CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing systems performance and identifying system issues
• Reviewing and maintaining all financial systems policies and procedures
• Collaborating with IT and financial staff to meet business requirements
• Troubleshooting and fixing finance-related system issues
• SAP management and ing
• Change management e.g. PowerBI dashboards
• Training and supporting finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures
• Managing system upgrades with the IT department
• Preparation of presentations for various ing periods
• Ensuring focus is placed on balance sheet reconciliations and issues identified and escalated/resolved and generate a monthly to FC on high-risk areas
• Ensure journals posted have necessary narrative and backing
• Key eye for detail and process improvements
• Support audit and statutory accounts production

Essential Skills

• Degree level qualification
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1 years minimum post qualified experience
• Systems development and finance systems experience
• Commercial awareness
• Broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems
• Experience in communicating and influencing senior stakeholders
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel macros and other accounting packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)
• Audit exposure
• Ability to work under pressure and be organised to meet tight deadlines
• Process improvements experience

Desirable

• SAP/Oracle/WMS Experience
• Maintain an organised documented system for financial ing files
• Computer software skills, including Excel macros and other accounting packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)
