RTITB Hiring for Instructor Job at Telford, England Full Time

LGV Instructor
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join the RTITB Instructor Academy team; someone who wants to use their experience as an instructor/assessor to develop the next generation of logistics industry trainers. The role is based at our Academy in Telford, Shropshire but includes national travel and overnight stays throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. The contracted hours for this role are 37.5 per week.

A day in the role could include the following:

• Delivering an LGV Instructor course to someone becoming an instructor for the first time
• Delivering an LGV Assessor course to a delegate on refresher training
• Travelling to a customer’s premises to deliver Yard Shunter or Banksman Instructor training
• Running a remote Driver CPC Instructor course via Teams/Zoom
• Collaborating with team members to continuously improve the training offered by the RTITB Instructor Academy
• Attending a team standardisation meeting
• Completing course administration
• Preparing classrooms and training area for upcoming courses
• Undertaking relevant continuous professional development

• £38,000 per annum
• 26.5 days annual leave (3.5 of which are taken on fixed days determined by the company during the Christmas Shutdown) plus 8 bank holidays.
