RTC Direct Hiring for Financial Controller Job at Warrington, North West England, England Full Time

We are looking to appoint a Fulltime, Permanent, Financial Controller who will be responsible for all financial functions across RTC Direct

Reporting to the Managing Director and Senior Management team, the Financial Controller will provide financial leadership across the company and support the Company through its next phase of growth.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

To manage the Finance function of the business and support Senior Management in sustaining further growth while maintaining strong business processes.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

• Financial Accounting: Responsible for producing and analysing Management and year-end financial accounts and liaising with external auditors.
• Management Accounting: Responsible for the monthly management accounts, weekly and monthly finance reports, monthly KPIs and any other ad-hoc reports as required
• Support the Budgeting and Forecasting process, while providing solid analysis and deep understanding of performance drivers
• Credit Control: Responsible for Liaising with our Commercial Finance Banking partners who perform credit control operations.
• General Ledger: Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger; setting up new accounts when required; ensuring reconciliation of control accounts; ensuring correct allocation of expenditure to cost centres
• Purchase Ledger: Responsible for overseeing accurate processing of all supplier invoices, management of accruals and regular payment runs.
• Sales Ledger: Responsible for ensuring prompt raising of sales invoices for customers, processing of receipts and all aspects of credit control
• Banking: Responsible for managing and/or overseeing all company bank accounts including company credit cards; ensuring adequate funds are available to meet the expenditure requirements. Weekly/monthly cash-flow reporting.
• Expenses: Responsible for overseeing, processing and payment of Employee Expenses
• CAPEX Reporting and Analysis
• Responsible for overseeing monthly and annual payroll functions provided by our payroll provider.
• VAT and Government statistical returns.

• Any other duties as requested by the Directors and Executive Board to support the efficient running of the Accounts department throughout the group.

Essential Criteria

• Fully qualified accountant: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified – 2 years post qualified experience. At least 2 years-experience at Finance Manager/Controller level.
• Up to date knowledge of IFRS reporting
• The ability to show leadership and take full control of the Finance Function of the business.
• Experience of preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills and Bookkeeping skills

Desirable Criteria

• Able to demonstrate that they are a self-starter, energetic and proactive.
• Used to hitting tight reporting deadlines with an eye for accuracy and completeness.

• Report preparation and presentation to Senior Management.
• Sap Business One Experience
