Main Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to become an integral member of the Property/Asset Management team to support both an established portfolio of PFI educational properties as well as a growing portfolio of group offices located across the UK.
This is a new role developed to support the provision of Asset & Facilities Management services to both Pell Frischmann specifically with its PFI interests, plus RSBGUK (Pell Frischmann’s parent company) and its offices in the UK.
The Finance Assistant will need to establish strong and positive relationships with members of the Premises and Office Management teams.
Working closely with the PFI Facilities and Property Management teams, The Finance Assistant will be supporting the provision of a wide range of finance and procurement services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the onsite Facilities Management team and the Finance & Procurement Manager to maintain financial overview of site budgets for PFI Schools Projects, to include:
o Purchase order costs
o Term contractor costs
o Utility cost and consumption management
o Petty cash and expenses
o Processing of supplier invoices
o Raising of monthly and ad hoc sales invoices as required
o Carrying out monthly budget review and adjusting of forecasts
o Submission and financial management of applications for Lifecycle funds
o Financial management of hiring out of school premises to third party users.
General administration and support for group premises management team, to include:
o Taking of minutes for internal and external meetings
o Working with and processing property/Facilities Management related invoices with the RSBGUK group finance team
o Supporting the Office Management team in providing building compliance information and a central help desk function.

The following skills are essential as part of the role:
o Ability to work within a nomadic team structure and manage own work time and business as usual commitments to meet deadlines.
o Comfortable working remotely either from home or from other company office locations as required.
o Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365 products (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams). IT literate, together with an understanding and experience of industry specific IT Applications.
o Highly customer focused. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
o Excellent analytical skills. Good knowledge of spreadsheets and FM related data collecting/collation
o Excellent time management skills, highly organised and with a good detail oriented approach.

Salary: £20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
