RPR Management Inc Hiring for Senior Accountant for Single Family Office Job at New York, NY Full Time

We are a single family office, supporting a variety of trusts, partnerships and investment activities and based in NYC. We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 3-5+ years of relevant family office accounting experience from a CPA firm or previous in-house experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of all day-to-day financial transactions across multiple entities, including oversight of wire transfers, ACH payments
• Responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, reports and financial statements; forecasting activity or cash needs, and similar functions across multiple entities. This will include data entry and corrections, transaction tagging, reconciliation
• Maintaining all accounting records, working with QuickBooks, Sage or similar (Addepar experience a plus). This will include close coordination with our external tax team and maintaining schedules for depreciation, amortization, capital contributions, etc
• Supporting tax planning, timely payment of tax liabilities, entity management and compliance
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining supporting documentation
• Lending support with various ad-hoc requests (e.g., presentations, tax reports, special projects)
• Supporting external parties such as banks, trustees, vendors, and insurance advisors; responding to document requests and annual reviews

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3-5 + years of experience in CPA or general accounting roles
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration, CPA designation preferred
• Polished and professional, strong oral and written communication required
• Highly organized, detail oriented and tenacious in follow-up on projects and open items
• Strict confidentiality required at all times; comprehensive background checks will be required
• Proficient with Quickbooks or Sage; we maintain our investment reports in Addepar and would welcome candidates with experience with this system as well
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
• Self-reliant and resourceful but willing and able to work in a remote team setting. We will need you to jump in and help across all areas when needs arise.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
