RPM Delivery Hiring for Freight Agent Recruiter at Remote Full Time

The Freight Agent Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding potential Independent Agents for our company. This position requires logistics knowledge with a background working in an agent-based model. This will be a salary position with a commission.

Responsibilities

• Effectively networks and leverages relationships within the transportation brokerage sector to grow and extend the company’s agent network.
• Identifies potential new agents and pursues leads to bring on new agents.
• Works with potential agents to complete the agent contract.
• Negotiate the conditions of the contract with the prospective agent.
• Ensures that each new agent is successfully onboarded, including training on all systems and procedures, in collaboration with the internal team.
• Once an agent has joined the firm, frequently collaborates with them to find and seize new business possibilities and to acquire invitations for the company to bid on and seize new business.
• Works with agent network to ensure that firm receives the maximum yields possible.
• Manages agent turnover.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years recruiting experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience in the transportation/ brokerage industry
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
