Requirements

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team in Sydney on an initial 6 months contract which could lead to a permanent role.

In this role you will be providing a pivotal role in attracting talented people to join RP and advising on end-to-end recruitment to support our Project Management and Advisory team. This opportunity will see you actively utilising a variety of sourcing strategies to attract and retain high calibre candidates within the Project Management and Construction industry.

We have a newly formed Talent Acquisition function where you will be working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager within a very supportive People & Culture team. You will also have a chance to be involved in the development of the Talent Acquisition processes and initiatives from the ground up.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with hiring managers to provide high levels of recruitment and selection advice to support the selection and engagement of high performing qualified candidates.
• conduct end-to-end recruitment.
• Provide expert recruitment advice to assist hiring managers in sourcing the best and appropriate candidates.
• Identify and manage a range of direct and passive sourcing strategies to find talented people.
• Develop deep talent pipelines for roles, reducing time to fill and increasing the quality of candidate hire.
• Network, build and maintain relationships with employees, candidates and external stakeholders to identify referrals for qualified candidates and proactively promote Root Partnerships to attract potential candidates.
• Ensure successful candidates have the best possible recruitment and on-boarding experience, check in on candidate experiences and hiring manager feedback to continuously improve processes and practices.
• Advertise for candidates across various platforms, including writing compelling job advertisements.
• Develop and implement recruitment and selection strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds which supports the Diversity and Inclusion Plan.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of end-to-end recruitment including best practice recruitment approaches and initiatives
• Experience with a HRIS, ATS and recruitment marketing tools
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Recruitment role (Agency or Internal)
• High level of competence with Microsoft Office software packages
• Experience with P&C Software systems is advantageous
• Degree in Human Resource Management or similar preferred
