The Education Centre Manager/ (s) is responsible for the overall management of day to day activity, resourcing and long-term sustainability of the

Education Centre, working with service leads, stakeholders and Ed centre users to identify current and future needs.

This post holds overall responsibility for:
Management and ongoing development of the facilities of the Education Centre including the health and safety of staff and centre users,

budgetary control, the management of staff and equipment.

Develop, implement and review operational policies to ensure effective running of the education facilities.

Identify ongoing resources and associated revenue costs for effective running of the facilities and make recommendations for managing these,

supported by the, Head of Learning and Development and the Associate Director of Learning and Culture.

Liaise with partnership organisations to co-ordinate activity to maximise use of facilities and associated finance arrangements.

Lead bespoke project work relating to facilities and educational priorities, e.g., ongoing improvements to centre, up to date digital systems.

Manage a customer-focused, responsive and effective education front of house service which directly supports delivery of education priorities.
