The Logistics Coordinator organizes and monitors all shipments to and from customers. This position ensures products reach the destination in a timely and efficient manner.

The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for evaluating freight quotes with various freight carriers and scheduling shipments based on the chosen carrier.

This position is responsible for timely and accurate completion of shipment paperwork including Bill of Lading, Packing Slip, and system transactions.

This position will be required to serve as a back-up to the Receiving Clerk position.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Schedule daily shipments based on production completion.
• Communicate and negotiate with freight carriers through websites, phone, and email.
• Work with Inventory Control and Logistics manager to monitor carrier costs and performance.
• Communicate with customers to arrange product delivery through phone and email.
• Prepare shipments based on carrier and customer requirements (packaging, labeling, etc.)
• Coordinate with team members to ensure all shipment items are ready and staged prior to booking truck(s).
• Monitor Visual Dispatch and or production line status for pipe bundles to ensure those are scheduled and completed prior to booking shipments.
• Track, trace, and update shipment status with Sales Team as needed.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Purchasing to ensure shipments are covered for outside process components.
• Perform Receiving Clerk, forklift operation, and additional related duties as assigned.

Logistics Coordinator Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related work experience (processing and coordinating shipments of large material with flatbed and LTL carriers).
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are required.
• Strong independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to measure material to determine shipment dimensions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and / or pull a minimum of 75 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Royal offers a competitive pay package that includes an hourly wage paid weekly and a production bonus paid monthly totaling $25.

00 per hour. $23.00 per hour is paid weekly. The production bonus is paid monthly and pays a year-to-date average of $2.00 per hour.
