Data/Financial Analyst
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for generating and analyzing financial reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collecting and analyzing financial data
· Estimating costs and comparing budgets with actual expenses
· Monitoring costs after significant changes in products or processes
· Maintenance of Internal Costing/Pricing Tools
· Assist management in review of new opportunities for effective and efficient collection/analysis of data.
· Ability to complete tasks accurately in a time sensitive environment

Education/Experience:
· Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, or related field. MBA or Masters of Business/Data Analytics preferred.
· Five (5) years of experience in accounting and experience working in a professional office environment. Candidates with additional experience will be considered for Manager or Sr. Analyst level positions
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; and other standard office equipment, knowledge of CRM systems, NetSuite software preferred
· Advanced Excel knowledge required.
· Preferred Industry Experience – Manufacturing , Food & Beverage, and Agriculture
· Significant Cost Accounting Experience preferred
· Knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau and Alteryx strongly preferred.
Physical Abilities:
· Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:
o Sit for prolonged periods of time;
o walk and climb stairs;
o operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard;
o and utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information
o Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors
o occasionally stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist;
o lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 10 pounds;

· Problem Solving Ability: ability to identify and/or prevent problems before they occur; ability to formulate alternative solutions to problems when necessary; ability to transfer learning from past experiences to new experiences of similar nature.
· Quality Management: ability to complete time sensitive duties, on time and with precision; ability to edit the accuracy and thoroughness of one’s work as well as the work of others; ability to constructively apply feedback to improve performance, ability to generate ideas to improve and promote quality in work
· Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to walk through problems involving multiple variables.
Work Environment:
While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is exposed to typical
office environment conditions and noise levels, with occasional exposure to plant activity and noise level.
