About the opportunity

This position will be responsible for managing Royal Rehab’s current hiring needs and headcount growth across the business. You will attract, retain and develop individuals for various roles while working to improve the Employee Value Proposition to potential hires and recommend strategies on areas for improvement.

In this role, you will drive employee brand awareness to ensure Royal Rehab secures the best talent in the highly competitive marketplace in which we operate and you will support and develop our talent to grow and succeed.

Your responsibilities will see you:

• Provide end to end management of the recruitment lifecycle
• Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract, retain & develop the right talent
• Proactively develop talent pools and engage with potential candidates
• Partner with Marketing to drive employer brand promotion
• Organise local recruitment campaigns to facilitate future growth
• Manage the internal recruitment process for the business
• Collaborate and develop strong working relationships with key teams and stakeholders on talent attraction and recruitment
• Facilitate Royal Rehabs onboarding program
• Coordinate learning and development programs, seminars and workshops including planning, facilitation, implementation and evaluation
• Identify and pursue training opportunities for staff
• Work as an effective member of the HR and Talent Acquisition Teams
• Be a Culture Ambassador for Royal Rehab

About you

You will be a passionate and energetic individual with the drive to succeed. You thrive on the acquisition of high performing talent whilst focusing on delivering exceptional customer service to internal hiring managers. You will also have a passion for professional development and understand the importance of Learning and Development as a strategy to attract, retain and develop talent.

As a people person, your focus is on developing strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders whilst building trust through the understanding of recruitment and professional development needs of the business.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, Recruitment or Talent management
• An understanding of Allied Health, Healthcare and/or Disability Sectors (highly desirable)
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
• Strong attention to detail
• Working with children’s check (or willing to obtain)
• Police Check / Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain)
