We’re the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and we’re here for everyone affected by sight loss. Working for us means working for one of the UK’s biggest charities, supporting almost two million people living with sight loss in the UK.
RNIB is leading the creation of a world where there are no barriers for people with sight loss. One of our key priorities is to ask people to see sight loss differently, reversing inaccurate perceptions and changing public behaviours so everyone expects equal participation from people with sight loss and the creation of a fully accessible society.
What we are looking for
RNIB has recently expanded our recruitment team and we are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to run our friendly and dynamic team.
RNIB’s new recruitment team has recently transformed how RNIB recruits, and with two new recruiters, we are now looking for a manager to lead and develop the small and friendly team and develop its service to the organisation.
What you’ll need
In order to succeed in this role you’ll need to show extensive experience of managing a wide range of recruitment campaigns, with both a variety of roles and levels. You’ll ideally have experience of managing recruiters, and supporting a commercially focussed team which offers excellent customer service. You’ll also be proficient at developing processes and proactively looking to improve the teams offering to RNIB regularly.
You’ll have demonstrable experience of building strong, supportive, and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external and an ability to tailor your message to your audience.
You’ll enjoy advising managers on recruitment and selection matters, including longer term recruitment planning and supporting your team to do the same, trouble shooting where appropriate to get the best outcomes.
You may also have experience in developing and implementing Talent Acquisition strategies such as pipelining, headhunting and succession planning where appropriate.
In return
If you’d like to apply for this great opportunity, please apply online, uploading your CV and cover letter, telling us how you meet the skills, knowledge and experience for the role and why you think you’d be a great fit for RNIB.
This Appointment may be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Check and relevant Barred Lists check, where appropriate.
RNIB is committed to equality of opportunity and to promoting and celebrating the diversity of its staff and volunteers. We welcome everyone’s contribution and are proud of our status as a Disability Confident Leader. We welcome applications from people with sight loss and talented people from all sections of the community who share our values.
Please note, we reserve the right to close the application early if we receive a sufficient number of applications.
