Royal Machine Solutions is a small contracting company with a lot of growth potential. Safety and punctuality is a must. RMS provides full millwrighting services including preventive maintenance programs, machine repair, shift coverage, machining, designing solutions for equipment issues, and high quality fabrication of stainless as well as mild steel and aluminum. RMS is experienced in managing large or extended projects as well as small custom solutions for businesses. POSITION OVERVIEW and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Through technology, a strong work ethic and continual innovation, Royal Machine Solutions is becoming an industry leader in outsourced millwrighting and manufacturing services. Due to this growth, we are looking to add a day shift Fabricator to support our many ongoing projects. Experience and skill with stainless fabrication is a must. We are also willing to consider experienced apprentices. Regular hours are 7:30AM to 4:00PM with periodic overtime opportunities.

Skills Include:

· Experience laying out, fitting, welding (MIG and TIG) custom fabrications using mild steel and stainless steel

· Ability to design and fabricate one-off pieces independently, as well as following blueprints and verbal direction

· Competent with vertical and horizontal band saws, press brakes, shears, iron workers, and other essential fabrication machinery

· Machine maintenance

· Ability to identify root cause of equipment failures and follow-up on feasibility of modifications

· Ability to plan projects from start to finish

· Working safely and being punctual

· Working independently, as well as in a team

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Strong mechanical aptitude

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1-2 Years in an industrial environment

· Training in Lift Truck, WHMIS, and Fall Arrest would be considered an asset but not a requirement

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma/Certificate

COMPENSATION:

· Dependent on skill and experience

Salary: $18.00-$29.00 per hour
