About the role
The purpose of the Senior Test Analyst is to prepare and carry out testing whilst providing a positive influence on the wider test team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of their own role plus the wider purpose of the Test team who are continually looking to improve their ways of working.
Key responsibilities Analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications to determine test requirements. Designs and produces re-usable automated test scripts. Influence the testing process and evolve how we work. Provide guidance to trainee and Test Analyst.
Criteria Experience in problem solving and solutioning within a test services environment. Can work collaboratively with others using agility, to achieve a common goal. An understanding of testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional and non-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors. Has experience of using and maintaining automated test tools and can influence when automation adds value.
