Role purpose

You will be responsible for the processing, control, and reconciliation of financial transactions in a cost-effective manner in line with Finance procedures and objectives.

Manage workflows effectively and provide a finance focused service to internal and external customers, ensuring that tasks are carried out on time and accurately.

Key responsibilities Responsibility for Income Release payment routines and associated daily and monthly accounting reconciliations. Ownership of Income Release HMRC PAYE reporting, monthly reconciliation and payment process and management of annual P60 generation and issue to policyholders. Ownership of Income Release mailbox ensuring all Incoming email/queries in relation to the above and in respect of associated policy and taxation information are resolved effectively, managing expectations as required. Continuation of Homeless money project and its establishment into BAU processes.

Essential Criteria Accounting knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Detailed knowledge or experience of the PAYE tax regime in relation to pension income.

Desirable Criteria Good Microsoft office skills, high level and experience of excel (including macros and pivot tables).
