Royal High School Bath Hiring for Librarian Job at Bath, England Full Time

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time plus 8 weeks
Salary: Regional Grade 5, No less then £33,000 pro rata

For the first time in 20 years we are looking to recruit for a school Librarian.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to review our library offering and to become an integral part of this exciting learning opportunity for our pupils.

Our libraries are welcoming environments where students can study but also relax and indulge in the joy of reading. The atmosphere and energy you create through your passion for reading and all things to do with books will be key.

You will be responsible for the management, development and promotion of the library to ensure that all students and staff have ready access to a broad and relevant range of reading matter, reference materials, research tools and information services, so that the students are able to use all of the library facilities to their maximum potential.

The ideal candidate will be a chartered librarian with considerable experience of working in a library and knowledge and enthusiasm for children’s and young adults’ literature.
