We often seek to employ people with uplifting and warm personalities to work across our established aged care homes in Victoria. Hospitality Assistants are reliable and enjoy working in a team and importantly brighten the residents’ day by enjoying a chat while working.
Shifts available:
Breakfast/Lunch – 9am-330pm or 730am-2:30pm
Dinner service – 330pm-730pm or 4pm to 8pm
Hospitality Assistants (Food Service Assistants) to the Chef Manager, and are required to assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals in the dining room or to residents that wish to reside in their room. It is important that the dining rooms are well kept, tables are neatly presented and you are creative minded, perhaps you will play music during dinner or pick some flowers from the garden to place in vases on the tables. Most importantly you will be able to relate to older people particularly those living with dementia, an illness or disability.
Our Relationship Model of Care are focused on each individual resident’s needs and choices, via our staff becoming an extended part of the resident’s family, by building strong professional and meaningful relationships, with the aim of ensuring every resident has their best day possible.
Requirements:
Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week
Clear communication, empathy for elders and enjoy making someone’s day
COVID Vaccine (2 + booster)
NDIS Check/Police Check
Food Handling Certificate (don’t worry we can provide details)
