An opportunity has arisen for a Benefits Advisor to join leading global professional services firm as part of their globally diverse and friendly team on an 18-month FTC.
The main focus area with this role is the ability to work with Senior Stakeholders along with supporting the delivery of the firm’s reward strategy and programmes and managing and overseeing the provision of benefit programs within the firm for both UK staff and global partners.
As a Benefits Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
· Acting as a ‘centre of expertise’, providing advice and guidance to HR colleagues and the business on policy and exercising commercial judgment on decisions impacting the business.
· Understanding the firm’s market, leveraging personal networks, and monitoring legislation and developments to ensure the programme is as competitive as possible, legally compliant and optimised for success.
· Contributing to the development of new benefit programmes and processes to meet business needs and ensure competitiveness in the market.
· Educating and engaging the business on the firm’s agenda to raise adoption of the reward and benefits offering; looking for opportunities to maximise consistency and efficiencies.
· Managing a portfolio of benefit programs for UK staff and for global Partners, including project-leading renewal processes, managing relationships with benefit providers, and supporting employees and partners with queries and / or claims in respect of their benefits.
· Project-leading ad hoc projects from concept to delivery, e.g., introduction of new benefits, change of strategy.
· Inputting and advising on setting budgets for the firm’s benefits/advisers and monitoring spend throughout year.
· Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders e.g., wider HR team, business managers, payroll, and administration teams to work in a collaborative and effective way.
We are looking for a Benefits Advisor who has the following skills and experiences:
· Experience in UK and international rewards and benefits with particularly strong experience of benefits
· Experience managing a portfolio of benefit programs for UK staff and for global Partners, including project-leading renewal processes, managing relationships with benefit providers, and supporting employees and partners with queries and/or claims in respect of their benefits
· Benefits Project Management experience e.g. introduction of new benefits
· Ability to establish credibility and build relationships at all levels of seniority.
· Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively both orally and in writing.
· Good attention to detail.
· Strong project-management skills.
· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and projects.
· Strong numerical and analytical skills.
· Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Confidence in dealing with challenging clients and ability to influence beyond own sphere of responsibility.
· A real interest in reward innovation and engagement.
· Collaborative enjoys working as part of a team.
· Ability to form a commercial view and exercise common sense.
