Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group Hiring for Sales & Marketing Coordinator Full Time

Sundance Newbridge Publishing, a division of Rowman & Littlefield, is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and tech-savvy candidate to help support our sales and marketing efforts to K-8 public schools across the United States.

This position will connect our sales & marketing efforts to best represent our brand across each unique community in the United States while also responding to their time-sensitive needs. This role will play an active role in executing the sales strategy and will assist in key marketing efforts.

This position will directly to the VP of Sales, with a dotted line to the Director of Marketing. Our office is based in Marlborough, MA and this position will be a hybrid role between remote work and in the office – which will fluctuate during the busy parts of the year.

Main Responsibilities

• Help execute the national sales strategy, supporting the VP of Sales and our sales team – consisting of over 25 individual reps across the country.
• Assist with our response to time-sensitive customer inquiries – including (but not limited to) generating cost proposals, sending product samples, and creating new custom packages
• Coordinate the national RFP response process – acquiring information from all departments to submit official district-wide proposals and manage award notifications
• Assist with all Lead/Demand Generation efforts to gain more inbound leads and properly manage the lead process with the sales and marketing teams
• Assist with our weekly email campaigns – including list updates and testing
• Build attractive PowerPoint presentations for sales or customer trainings, working with manipulating images and copy from marketing & product teams
• Assist with the production of our annual catalogs – planning out book maps and proofing pages
• Assist in the creation of new print and digital marketing materials
• Coordinate evolving social media efforts to build company awareness
• Proof web pages and other marketing collateral/sales tools as needed
• Support Customer Service with inbound customer requests – inclusive of fielding phone calls and providing backup support during our selling seasons
• Perform additional sales and marketing duties – such as maintaining our Zoho CRM system, coordinating the correlation and Lexile review process, monitoring inventory of marketing materials, and providing sales s on key territory activity

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in sales support, marketing support, or similar positions is required.Candidates with both sales support and marketing experience are strongly desired.
• High level of familiarity/comfort with technology – able to demonstrate knowledge in key software or technical systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems/applications.
• PC Proficient with advanced capabilities using Adobe PDF reader/writer and Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal & written communication – with the ability to develop rapport over email/phone and confidently communicate with internal & external contacts
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as a team to complete specific projects with multiple stakeholders and definitive deadlines.
