ROUSSOS has partnered with a leading national tier 1 commercial contractor to source an experienced and capable Senior Project Manager. Recognised nationally for its diverse project portfolio, this organisation’s capabilities span across a range of industry sectors including health, sports & recreation, education, retail, and industrial valued up to $200M+. Understanding the critical importance of successful outcomes, this contractor is committed to finding knowledgeable project leaders to ensure consistent quality delivery of landmark projects.

The role

Working closely with the State Lead, and as part of the managing contractor team, you will lead the delivery of a significant project. Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Maintain strong and effective communication with the client and stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
• Effectively manage the engineering, scheduling, costs and quality of the project
• Organise and coordinate the construction activities in accordance with the programme to ensure work is being completed on time
• Drive high performance through collaboration, positive leadership & identification of risks, whilst supporting the Construction Manager to ensure client and community expectations are managed

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this opportunity you will hold a minimum of 5+ years as a Project Manager within the commercial construction industry along with a degree in Construction Management & Economics. You will ideally demonstrate proven experience delivering $20M+ projects across a range of project sectors. As Senior Project Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership and communications skills as well as resilience in dealing with complex issues as they arise.
