We are partnering with a national architecture studio, to source a Principal Architect to join their growing Adelaide team. This studio is known for their significant project portfolio which spans across the health, aged care, retail and commercial sectors. This business boasts a strong technical team with a broad skillset, which has been key in supporting the unique and challenging projects this studio has delivered to date. Working closely with the Directors you will implement mentorship and lead some of the most exciting and diverse projects across South Australia.

The role

As Principal Architect, your role will be design focused and involve guiding, reviewing, and maintaining design quality across the studio. You will champion design outputs at multiple scales and complexities, driving quality documentation and detailing across the studios. As a natural leader, you will work closely with all staff in the office, initially focusing on providing guidance to the Project Leader for one of the most exciting upcoming projects in the state. This is a unique opportunity in the market to refine design, be forward-thinking and outcome focused within a studio that are continuing to influence the market.

The ideal candidate

We are ideally looking for a Registered Architect with 10+ years of proven industry experience. With your passion for design, this role will give you the freedom to drive processes and be yourself amongst creative minds. This is a client facing opportunity, so the role will require an individual to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. Revit proficiency will be highly desirable. You will be joining a studio with a supportive leadership team and work with a like-minded colleague that are passionate about what they do.
