Excavator Operator – Residential Digging

$80,000 – $125,000 a year

What you will be doing:

• Heavy equipment operator (backhoe & mini excavator) for sewer & water service repairs/replacements on residential and commercial job sites.
• Help with hand digging for certain jobs
• Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to guidelines.
• Follow OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures.
• Work with a crew to complete excavation work.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Maintain excavation equipment.

What it takes:

• Residential Digging Experience
• CDL A holder
• Complete jobs within specified timelines.
• Construction experience (residential and commercial).
• Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
• Work a flexible schedule that may occasionally include nights and weekends.
• Plumbing underground repairs
