The Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for the development and execution of trade marketing strategy across offline channels, including vape stores, general retail environments, and key accounts.
This position is the key contact for the implementation of strategic solutions that help build RBH’s portfolio presence, including awareness of RBH’s products among legal age consumers. The Trade Marketing Executive is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring retail performance, as it relates to both legal age consumers and in-store staff. The Trade Marketing Executive plays a crucial role as both a creator and executor of impactful tools and concepts to build differentiation, gain competitiveness, and drive retail portfolio performance.
Your day to day:
Developing multi-faceted retail brand presence strategies for RBH based on the competitive landscape and organizational KPIs.
Collaborating with field teams to develop a brand-specific strategies for retail visibility and leading the execution of these strategies by collaborating with various teams within RBH.
Working closely with the RBH marketing team and third-party suppliers to use market insights to develop a toolbox of brand staging materials, including permanent point of sale materials and temporary point of sale materials for different retail environments.
Identifying, developing, and implementing tailored solutions to increase RBH’s competitive advantage.
Creating a yearly calendar scheduling trade communications which aligns with RBH’s strategic plans and developing efficient methods to educate staff and legal age consumers on RBH’s portfolio. You will own the implementation of these methods from ideation to execution, including design, development, coordination with field teams, production, field activation, and management of timelines and budgets.
Monitoring the effectiveness of deployed methods and ensuring continuous improvement. You will be the owner of a budget allocated to these initiatives, and will provide accurate ing based on pre-established KPIs.
Acting as the first point of contact for the field teams regarding trade visibility topics, tracking best practices from other industries and markets, and sharing insights with your colleagues. You will also conduct field visits to ensure proper implementation of the tools developed and gain insight on general retail trends.
Developing effective relationships with various internal stakeholders, and managing RBH’s relationships with its external partners who are involved in the development and production of point of sale materials.
Enhancing awareness and knowledge of merchandising standards and practices among the field team by coaching and updating them on trade visibility tools and initiatives.
What we are looking for:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales or a related field (e.g., economics, business).
2+ years in trade marketing in a commercial environment (FMCG/CPG).
Exceptional planning and project management experience.
A strong grasp of marketing processes and trends and innovations, and a solution-oriented mindset.
In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and related trade practices.
Strong analytical skills, including applied knowledge of sales data.
Experience managing a project budget.
Strong collaborative communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have:
Previous experience working with creative, experiential and/or production agencies.
Fluency in French.
