RSE is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their Capital Projects team based in Muir Of Ord. Your role will be responsible for the delivery of medium-sized value projects, or key elements within larger projects and managing the performance of projects from end-to-end. This is a multi-discipline Project Manager position therefore Civil, Mechanical or Electrical bias Project managers will all be considered. This will require the overall management/ accountability of operational sites and their delivery teams, including Site Managers, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors. Responsibilities will include the procurement of goods and services, preparation of estimates and quotations, project forecasts, customer and stakeholder engagement, completion of contract documents, production of risk assessments / method statements and management of health, safety and environmental issues.
Our Capital Projects Team in Muir of Ord delivery multi-discipline medium/ large projects throughout the North of Scotland, including the Western Isles and Northern Isles, this is a great opportunity to work with a multi-discipline team who manage and delivery entire projects from design to completion.
Candidates will be considered with both a trades and academic qualification to City & Guilds, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent, with post qualification supervisory experience. Possession of DOMS, NW Hygiene and 3 day First Aid certificate, would be preferred.
The ideal candidate would have:
Qualification to Degree/ HND/ HNC / SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering or equivalent.
Computer literate – proficiency with Microsoft Office packages with skills in excel.
Proven track record in Project Management, with an Engineering or Supervisory background.
Knowledge of applicable Design Codes, Technical Standards, Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice.
Good technical background with good knowledge of own specialist discipline and knowledge of other engineering and trade disciplines.
Good Knowledge of NEC contracts, P6 & MS Project.
Desirable:
Proven record in dealing with project delivery, project commercials, HSEQ procedures.
DOMS & National Water Hygiene.
