Project Engineer 

RSE are currently seeking Project Engineers (Mechanical) to join our growing team in Basingstoke. 

Your role will be responsible for the delivery of various value projects, or key elements within larger project’s and managing the performance of project’s end-to-end. This will require supervision of operational sites and their delivery teams, including Site Managers, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors.

Responsibilities will include

• Procurement of goods and services
• Preparation of estimates and quotations
• Production of risk assessments / method statements
• Management of health, safety and Environmental issues.

The ideal candidate would be time served or fully qualified in their relevant trade. Preferably with experience working within the Water Sector across Clean and Waste Water Treatment. Candidates will be considered with both a trades or academic qualification to City & Guilds, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent, with post qualification supervisory experience.

The ideal candidate would have:

• A qualification to Degree/HND/HNC NVQ 3 (or equivalent)  in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record in an Engineering or Supervisory role with project management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of applicable Design Codes, Technical Standards, Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice.
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to all engineering trades, particularly Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering.
• Good technical background with good knowledge of own specialist discipline and knowledge of other engineering and trade disciplines.
• Most importantly must be willing/adaptable to working within an energetic reactive team environment, ability to think outside of the box and work with in a close team environment.

Desirable:

• Confined Space entry.
• Writing and reviewing of risk assesments
• National Water Hygiene.
